Cummins Natural Gas Engine

CumminsCummins has announced it will begin full production of the Cummins Westport ISX12 G in 2013. Based on the Cummins ISX12 diesel, the new engine will run exclusively on either compressed natural gas or liquefied natural gas, and will be offered in five ratings from 330 to 400 HP and 1,150 to 1,450 pounds per feet of torque. The ISX12 G will also be offered with an optional engine brake and a choice of manual or automatic transmission.
